Went to DC last Friday for a gig at the Ugly Mug in DC.

It’s a very chill bar, full of chill people. The owner Pete is a cool dude, and shout outs to Sammy the bouncer for helping me keep sane while the dinner hours rolled by.

The fact that it doesn’t get dark until after 8 made it tough to play some of the more heavy metal that people were requesting but it all worked out. Definitely not my normal scene but it was full of stand-up individuals who just wanted some good headbanging music.

Next time, more Alice in Chains and Zeppelin.
